MaoTrailers

MaoTrailers sells car trailers, tuk-tuks, farm machinery and cars from a shop in Denta, in Timiș County, Romania, with free delivery anywhere in the county. On the site people browse what's in stock by category, with photos, prices and sales, then call or send a WhatsApp message straight from the listing, with the message already written. Anyone who wants to visit the shop taps the map and lands straight on its Google Maps listing, with the reviews and directions. Anyone who wants to pay in instalments finds the TBI Bank calculator too.

Why WordPress

The client adds the listings on their own, so they needed an admin panel they could use without me. WordPress is the most widely used website system in the world, it has been around for over twenty years and it's easy to maintain in the long run, which makes it the safe choice for a site the client keeps up to date.

From WordPress I kept only the engine. The theme and the plugin are mine, with no page builders and no plugins picked up from the internet, so the site runs only what it needs. In the admin panel the client sees just the listings: they add the photos, the price, the currency and the old price during a sale, and write the description however they like, because the site lays it out on its own.

Statistics and Google

The site counts its own visits and shows them as charts in the admin panel, with no cookies and no stored IP addresses, so visitors never see a cookie banner. People search for things like "trailers Timiș", so the page titles include the place, and every listing sends Google its product details, price included.
